Dave most recent involvement in ‘Renovation Island’ Season 4, where Dave Coleman was the Project Manager and lead carpenter for the residence of HGTV hosts Bryan and Sarah Baeumler. We fully renovated a 3,700 square foot residence with a 3,200 square foot plane hangar in Wellington Florida. Dave started working with Bryan and Sarah Baeumler January 2019 during ‘Renovation Island’, Season 1, Caerula Mar Ocean Club, South Andros Bahamas.

The Major House was built in 1850 in the heritage community of Whitevale, Pickering Ontario Canada. Dave was the Project Manager, and lead carpenter to remodel and renovate the 3,200 square foot heritage farmhouse, and 3 car 2 story detached garage. We collaborated with Duy Nguyen of Ncubed architecture to add a master suite addition while completely gutting and remodeling the interior and exterior from the basement to the second story. We had to present the new design to the heritage committee and get approval to remodel this heritage home. The Major House was successfully renovated and was featured on the cover of ‘Our Homes’ Magazine.

The Sandlot Project was a 1950’s bungalow in Clarington Ontario. This 1500’ sf home was converted into a two story 2900’ square foot 4-bedroom, 3 bathrooms, with finished basement custom home theater. The renovation consisted of full demolition of the interior, demolition of the roof and first story walls, with two additions increasing the footprint of the home to include a large front entry and a mudroom attached to the garage. We also extended the garage from a 1 bay garage to a 2-bay garage.

Dave Coleman and his former partner Kate Campbell were asked to be the head contractors and hosts for Episode 7 of ‘Family Home Overhaul’ on HGTV. In this episode Dave and Kate led their team to a major renovation of a 3000’ square foot home. The renovation included a custom kitchen, full remodel of the mud room and main floor bathroom, refinished hardwood floors, living room renovation, master bedroom renovation, second story bathroom renovation, and bedroom renovations for the two children.
